Couldn’t be any prouder of this young man!

When we watched him take home the title yesterday one of the thought’s that crossed my mind was that the founder of B.A.S.S, the late great “Ray Scott” would’ve been proud to see a young man persevere with such class, determination, sheer instinct and pure love of the sport take home the title despite fishing without all the new bells and whistles that people have become accustomed too in the new age of fishing.

I feel in my heart that there are millions of young Boys and Girls that woke up this morning that come from humble households that feel super motivated to know that they also can do it now that they’ve witnessed Louis win in the fashion that he did and the class in which he did it.

I also come from humble beginnings and watching Louis these past 3 days it reminded me of a saying my Mother used to say to me….

“Money doesn’t buy class, so there’s no reason not to have it.”
